Hello, I'm David Harrison a professional photographer.
I love photography and have done for over 30 years. That's me in the safari truck - the 'giraffe whisperer' !
As my 'day job' I am a commercial photographer working with companies on their marketing images, headshots and branding. In my spare time, I love to spend time taking pictures of nature, wildlife and the Lincoln area.
When I’m not in the UK, I am often in Africa photographing wildlife on safari – simply the most exhilarating photography experience you can imagine.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to see a whole range of animals, plants and habitats.
From elephants to dung beetles, Lions to honey badgers I've seen a wide variety. Although there is still a way to go on my list. I am a big fan of raptors and vultures as well as the big cats.
It's surprising though how much you appreciate all wildlife when you actually see it...in the wild! I love taking pictures of Zebra and giraffe.
I have volunteered for Rhino Revolution UK and been to their South African rehabilitation centre, which looks after orphaned rhinos.
I have won several awards for my African wildlife images and I am pleased to share my work here.
